By 2005 the autowind movement was seemingly detached inside the case and rattling .It's called selection bias. You're more likely to get a complaint when you screw up, vs getting a compliment when you do well. Since we're talking about relatively small numbers of watches sold, unless someone has inside knowledge of return rates and warranty claims, it's impossible to . In this case I feel that the Blackbird, although a very good rep, falls short of Super Rep status. Because of non-compatibility with genuine parts or movement, poor quality control on the pearl placement, and the horribly inaccurate caseback (SEE EDIT), the Blackbird has just . I recently--and unfortunately--dropped my Blackbird A44359 from about four feet onto a hard tile floor. A lume marker came loose and is floating around in the case and there's also a dent on one of the rider tabs, although it is barely noticeable.
I think the movement is a modified ETA 2824-2. I actually don't have any problems changing the date but think is very odd that much cheaper watches do not have this misalignment problem. What do you think is going on here? Should I not wear the watch until I can have it serviced? I .
