To the OP: if I liked a watch in every other way, a Miyota or Seiko or Orient movement--no reason to distinguish between the 3 unadjusted Japan movements that I'm aware of, though differences well may exist.
Some models were produced with Miyota Japanese movements, including the Pluton. Breitling doesn't like admitting it nowadays, but there's no reason why a Japanese movement indicates a fake and it sounds like you have .
