The SS is a beautiful piece and works well with most budgets. However, the SS has been done before. Omega has essentially developed a market on matte black and patina/faux-tina indices. It is tried and true. But the SM300 Ti is revolutionary. It’s off the beaten path and for that, strikes a chord with me. A Full Guide to the Seamaster Pro 300M Chronograph Family. Ashley Budgen Dec 13, 2022 ⸱ 17 min read. The Seamaster Pro Chronograph was a cornerstone of Omega’s model lineup in the 1990’s and 2000s. I had a few Omega divers (including the same blue SM300 titanium) and the bezel action always seemed pretty "cheap". Compared to Tudor Black Bays it is pretty striking. Even on some micro brands like Baltic I experienced a better action. I'm sure Omega bezels are as reliable as others, however improving the feeling when turned would be a plus.
Titanium! Being lightweight is a big plus, the blue is very elegant and you won't find too many shades of blue like this in other pieces. It's unique to me. Also, being in the kind of new era of titanium timepieces - having a well built re edition is tempting. As to its collectors value in the future I think the titanium would hold a better .
