I've finally figured out how to perfectly align the minute and second hands of my new M Series Sea Dweller. I started a thread last week asking how I could prevent my minute hand from alternately lagging and overshooting the second hand. 1. Hack the movement with the second hand exactly on the 12 marker; 2. Rotate the crown and advance the minute hand to at least 5 minutes ahead of the time you want, so in this case 11:25; 3. Now rotate the minute hand counter clockwise back to the time you are trying to set the watch to, in this case 11:20; Use the minute hand as a reference hand. As the Rolex Turn-o-Graph uses its central minute and hour hands to tell the time and to measure elapsed time, you would need to reference the minute hand first when preparing your watch for timing an activity. The minute hand doesn't quite reach the hour markers, and the hour hand is even stubbier. People have guessed (possibly correctly) that Rolex is just using the hands from the previous, smaller Explorer instead of making new hands that are proportionally longer to go with the larger new model.
