So thinking of a cost effective (read I am skint) upgrade I can get a used Linn Basik LV X arm at a reasonable price. Will it be a worthwhile change, is the basik better, worse or the same as the TP-16. The Basik LV X+ was slightly tauter and more focused than its predecessor, with a tiny bit more detail and a fractionally more spacious treble, but the differences weren’t profound.
