If you are taking a wrist shot from top down- 41mm will appear too big. I have a 6.6 inch flat wrist and the 41mm fits great for a more sporty vibe. I feel the 39mm better for dressy and 36mm for discrete wear. Personally dress (even dress/sport) watches should not be as large as your actual sport watches and 39 mm is more than a reasonable sized diameter. DJ goes from 36 - 41 mm. The D/D is 40 mm. Is it considered less of a watch than the DJ and OP as it's 1 mm smaller. I owned a Glycine Incursore at 44 mm. Couldn't wear it.

To me, the 41mm looks fine on you and the 37mm looks too small. The 15500 does wear a bit larger though due to the shorter hour markers, which make the dial look a bit emptier. Try on a 15400 or a 15510 if possible - overall size is the same, but they will visually feel different due to the dial configurations.
